Simple Corn Dog Muffins



I did not expect this to turn out as amazing as they were, therefore I did not write down my recipe.  However, if you'd like to replicate this yourself, just take a simple cornbread batter (recipe) and pour it into prepared muffin cups.
The next step is to par-cook some hotdogs in the microwave just to ensure that they finish cooking in the oven since uncooked hot dogs are a no-no.
Finally, slice them up and pop them into your cornbread muffins!  Not too difficult, and a simple recipe for if you are craving corn dogs!

How to Prepare Czech Roast Duck

One of my treasured czech meals is bohemian style roasted duck. I usually get this meal onc a year if I am lucky. I typically have to order it at a czech restaurant or prepare it for myself while the rest of the family enjoy roast chicken or pork. Their disdain for eating duck is primarily attributed to their appreciation of these little fussy waddlers observed at the petting zoo or at the local parks swimming happily down the river. Somehow and someway, my view of duck has pushed me past the cute fuzzy image more in favor of the tasty Sunday roast that is served with homemade dumplings, sauce, and a braised cabbage dish. Just about every grocery store will carry duck in the frozen poultry section; if you can get one fresh, all the better! Soy, Honey, and Brown Sugar-Glazed Roast Sweet Potatoes

This super sweet and sticky side dish makes a wonderful addition to a meal!  It is particularly good with fried foods and roasts (and would therefore be a great addition to a Thanksgiving or holiday meal). It is so hard to stop eating this all in one go!  It's also easy on your budget and goes down well with picky eaters. You will need: 3 medium sweet potatoes 1 Tbsp soy sauce 1 Tbsp brown sugar 1/8 tsp Worcestershire sauce Honey for drizzling Toasted Sesame Oil for brushing on potatoes 1. Wash and peel sweet potatoes.  Cut into small cubes. 2. Arrange on a roasting tin over parchment paper. 3. Brush with toasted sesame oil and bake for 25 minutes at 200 C / 400 F. 4. While potatoes are roasting, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. 5. After 25 minutes, brush potatoes with sauce.  (Very) lightly drizzle honey over potatoes and replace in oven for an additional 15-20 minutes.
